Tetep-an to Pay-eng FMR completed

fter seven months of off and on work in the Tetep-an-Pay-eng Farm to Market Road, the sub-project was finally completed last September 30, 2013.

The 1.5 kilometer farm to market road is implemented at Tetep-an Sur, Sagada, Mountain Province, one of the priority projects of the barangay. Construction started last March, 2013.

The Tetep-an to Pay-eng Farm to Market Road was a 60-40 project scheme. Forty percent came from the barangay and Provincial Development Fund of Congressman Maximo B. Dalog, while sixty percent was from the CHARM2 Project. Robert Bayo from San Vicente, Baguio City is the contractor of the project.

Some barangay officials and community members in the locality and neighboring barangay (Tetep-an Norte) helped in the completion of the project.

Rip rapping of the stone walls and the concreting of pavement and parafet are the activities done. Due to cultural activities (community holidays and social obligations) and inclement weather, the implementation of the sub-project that was supposed to be finished last May 2013 was delayed.// Joy Anggon, CMO
